Meet Daniel

Daniel is a parent in the Central Bucks School District and the father of three young boys, two of whom are currently in elementary school. His commitment to education is deeply personal—he wants his sons, and all students, to benefit from an excellent learning environment. As an architect, Daniel believes that this commitment extends beyond the quality of instruction to include the environment that students inhabit every day. For him, both are equally important.

Daniel’s professional training equips him with the skills to identify opportunities to improve school facilities, ensuring they are not only functional but also conducive to learning. He is particularly focused on enhancing classroom environments by improving air quality, natural light, and ventilation—key factors that directly affect student focus and well-being. With many of the district’s instructional spaces outdated or poorly designed, Daniel is committed to making thoughtful, effective changes that benefit both students and teachers while also remaining financially responsible.

In addition to improving school facilities, Daniel is dedicated to ensuring the school board remains focused on student success rather than becoming a platform for unrelated issues. His leadership approach is collaborative—consulting with educators, parents, and experts to drive decisions that result in positive outcomes for students. Daniel is committed to maintaining a rich, well-rounded curriculum and ensuring that policies are clear, measurable, and result-driven.

Daniel’s priorities include:

  1. Investing in school facilities: This includes improving existing buildings and ensuring that new construction is designed with longevity in mind.

  2. Returning student achievement to pre-pandemic levels: While progress is being made, Daniel is committed to equipping teachers with the necessary tools to continue this important work.

  3. Attracting and retaining top teachers and staff: Academic excellence begins with exceptional talent. Daniel believes it’s essential for the district to remain competitive with surrounding areas and ensure teachers feel supported and trusted in their roles.

  4. Financial responsibility: Unfortunately, we have been given a district that often runs on a deficit. It is our responsibility to make sure we minimize impacts on our neighbors as we rectify this.

Daniel lives in Chalfont with his wife, their three sons, and their family dog. He is currently serving the remainder of his term on the CBSD School Board after being appointed to a vacant school board seat in September 2024. He also serves on the Education and Finance and Operations subcommittees.
